PTH is a Canadian progressive metalcore band. This is their second album, released in 2008, Fortress, which many consider their magnum opus. It's fantastic. With amazing vocals, which alternate between screaming and clean perfectly, and amazing instrumentation, it will thrash your head off.
Bloodmeat, the fantastic opener, basically shows you what the whole dang album is. It's so damn fast, with a rhythm change every goddamn bar (not actually, but almost), and fantastic vocals, albeit slightly cheesy lyrics.
I'm not going to go through every song, just the highlights. Sequoia Throne is also fantastic, and Bone Marrow, Palms Read, and The Dissentience are also bangers.
My only criticism is the extremely fast pace, for THE WHOLE ALBUM. Not one slow song. Which makes it something that you wouldn't listen to while doing schoolwork, for example, because it demands so much attention.
