  5. DIABOLICAL FULLMOON - Resurrection of The Ancient Faith
  6. Yeah..that's one of the side projects of Ayloss from Spectral Lore. Agree that it's a solid release. If you dig this release, you might like his Mystras stuff as well. If there was any kind of progression behind it, instead of just wholesale direction changes, but right now it just feels like someone constantly throwing random ideas at the wall.
  7. Absolutely... ...and agreed. I was trying to do as much PIP as I could with the speakers because I didn't want to cut into the stock harnesses in case I ever sell the truck, but damn they didn't make that easy. For some reason the 2015 seems to get overlooked for tweeter harnesses, with TacoTunes being the only place I could find that actually makes ones that fit. Still ended up having to cut the aftermarket woofer harnesses I was using to make everything work, but those are a hell of a lot easier to replace.
  8. That wasn't Songtradr, that was actually Epic who did it before the site was officially sold. Basically, the employees were told by Epic to reapply for their jobs with Songtradr, and roughly half were given job offers. Probably because Epic is financially screwed right now after getting hit with a $520 million dollar settlment, and ended up letting roughly 16% of their own staff go as well. ...and while I'm sure Songtradr will find some way to screw things up for the worst, it's important to note a lot of the people being let go came out of the writing and editorial department side of things. This isn't the tech people who keep the system running, it's the people who do the music promotion and review stuff on places like Bandcamp Daily....which, to me, has always been a useless waste of resources.
  9. Wish I'd known about those before hand. I picked up a Kenwood Excelon DDX396 along with a Crux SWRTY-61N Wiring Interface back in late spring. Assuming it works as it's supposed to, it shouldn't be too bad to set it up as it's pre-programmed. Just flick the appropriate switches into on or off. It does mean a day with the crimping tool and heat gun though.
  10. Yeah...new head unit is next. Need to double check that I've got everything I need for it, and I'll hopefully start wiring the harness together next weekend. ..for speakers, I ended up putting in some Reference Series 6530cx components from infinity https://www.crutchfield.com/S-NcJ3XZY6s7l/p_108R6530CM/Infinity-Reference-REF-6530cx.html Nothing super fancy, but they'll be able to take a good chunk of power once I finally get around to getting an amp for them. I only ran them a little bit today, just to confirm they were all working, but even with just the stock head unit I can hear a difference.
  11. While finishing up putting new speakers into my Tacoma Seraphic Entombment - Sickness Particles Gleam https://everlastingspewrecords.bandcamp.com/album/sickness-particles-gleam Altar of Obedience - Morbid Devoties https://altarofobedience.bandcamp.com/album/morbid-devoties-2 Massacra - Final Holocaust https://centurymedia.bandcamp.com/album/final-holocaust-reissue-bonus
  12. Versteck - Symbols of Seven Harmonies
  13. Worm seems to be having some kind of identity crisis since Foreverglade where they don't know what kind of band they want to be or what kind of music they want to make. Dude seems to just be kind of flailing around
  14. Putridarium -An Exploration of Burial Perversions (demos compilation)
  15. Mahanvhantara - Dissolutionem: Finis Coronat Opus
  16. Nartvind - Breath of Night (2023) Belgian black metal...been 13 years since their previous album
  17. Thy Heart, Thine Kingdom - In the Garden of Somer II ...pretty lo-fi atmospheric black metal by members of Nocturnal Tyrant, Winterspells, and Upir, which are all bands I like https://tillbm.bandcamp.com/album/in-the-garden-of-somer-ii
  18. My home computer I use AdBlocker Ultimate and uBlock Origin. They're both pretty good by themselves, but they seem to get along well with each other, and usually one will catch something if the other doesn't. Plus, while uBlock Origin seems to be more thorough, which I like, it gets pinged more often by sites that don't like ad blockers. AdBlocker Ultimate on the other hand seems to work on at least some of the sites that would otherwise lock up from an ad blocker, so i pretty much never have to deal with ads on anything. For my phone I use Free Adblocker Browser, which was fantastic when it first started, and while It still does the job for the most part, they've made small concessions over the years like "Okay one ad when you first load it and no more after that" or when they had their stupid CHAT AI search bar taking up a huge chunk of the screen. They do seem to take feedback seriously though, and they'll fix things pretty quickly if there's an issue, so I've stuck with them.
  19. Yeah it's an ongoing game...the other issue is that sometimes the blocker company will cut some kind of deal. The ad blocker I've used on my phone for the longest time has slowly, but steadily made some concessions to places like YouTube and Google over the years. Biggest one was when they took away the ability to listen to YouTube while your phone was in sleep mode because YouTube doesn't like that. Not sure if it was a payoff or legal threats that did it, but they shut it down quick
  20. Auriferous Flame - Ardor For Black Mastery New side project from Ayloss of Spectral Lore...straight forward and more in line with his Mystras stuff https://auriferousflame.bandcamp.com/album/ardor-for-black-mastery
  21. That's why I run a couple of different blockers...so if one doesn't catch it another one will. If you're seeing one of those little pop ups your current blocker may need an update or possibly replaced
  22. Sulphur Aeon - Seven Crowns and Seven Seals https://sulphuraeon-vanrecords.bandcamp.com/album/seven-crowns-and-seven-seals Nope.... "Swallowed by the Ocean's Tide" is one of my favorite death metal albums, and I enjoyed the two follow ups well enough as well, but this new one isn't cutting it. While I can definitely hear their previous efforts in the music, it feels like there's no edge in it anymore. It almost reminds me of what Hooded Menace did on their last one, making an album for people who don't really Sulphur Aeon. That being said, I can see the impending knob slobbing from the overall metal community coming for this new one from a mile away.
