I've never had a favourite label. There is no doubt a prominent label in my collection but I wouldn't know what it is because I don't think I've ever bought an album based on the label.

I'm not even sure our closest Kmart has an AFL section, which is almost unheard of for a retail store in Victoria. About all I know they sell is Lego, one of my girls and her cousin often buy Lego sets at Kmart cheaper than anywhere else. But otherwise I don't reckon I've been in a Kmart store for 20 years and back then it was because it was the only retail store in the area.

This is true and all the retail chain stores are doing it, but when was the last time you bought something at Kmart? 90% of the store is crap no one wants or needs, so who the fuck is buying it and sending their profits into the stratosphere? They can't be surviving on Eel's supporters and homeless people!

Kmart here rebranded in about 2015 and they got rid of things like TV's, music and car care (not that they had much to begin with) and they moved back in to fashion(?) and household shit like cushions and smelly things. They did a massive deal with some factory in Bangladesh and are now producing clothes for as little as $2 a piece. It's cheap overseas labour, (supposedly totally legal and above board, no slave labour) and it's revitalised the entire brand into profitable business now. They don't do things that different to other stores but they are somehow still making a profit and sending the likes of Target out of business.

FAAARRRKKKK! Our Kmart's have always been a bit different to the US but thank fuck they never played that in store. And now days we have Kmart Radio! Not only can you listen to it in store but you can listen to it online when you're not in store, just in case the pain of shopping in the store wasn't enough to make you want to kill yourself.

You spent days a week or so back going on with others about how current Maiden is not for you and how you don't like Bruce. if that's not forming an opinion I don't know what is. My recommendation is don't listen to them, you gave FF a try and it wasn't your thing, Book Of Souls wont be either.

For me it is, but I don't expect you to like either side, partly because you've already formed an opinion of current Maiden but also because it's not 3 minute rinse and repeat songs.

Well it would have to be disc 1 for you because disc 2 contains an 18 min song. But that song is also one of the best songs Iron Maiden/Bruce has ever written. It also contains the shortest song on the album which they wrote about Robin Williams. However disc one also has a 13 min song on it so I'd suggest you don't bother listening to it at all.

I could probably listen to FF more if it was an instrumental. But then again I'm not sure I could listen to an 80 min instrumental. Fuck what a conflict! My favourite post 90's is Book Of Souls, even if it does go for 3 weeks

Final Frontier is the album that I think drags and definitely my least listened to Maiden album. Maiden - Book Of Souls

Not a bad album in their entire collection! Classics all of them!

Spent the morning trying to find a supplier of some Aussie native plants. What I wanted isn't rare and the family of said plant has hundreds of varieties available in just about every garden shop but the specific plant I want is hard to get. I've managed to find three places in Australia selling the exact thing. One place is overpriced and not getting my business but of the two others they are both "mail order only". I can't remember the last time I mail ordered something, it would have to be at least the 90's if not the 80's. Would probably have been some band t-shirt or something like that where the form was cut out of the back of a magazine and the details "clearly printed" in the space provided. I haven't got a magazine this time but I do have a link to a Word Document file which I can print out, fill out with with a pen using block letters, include my credit card details and then put in the mail and send the letter away. No email, no web store, no ecomm, although thanks to modern technology I can fax the form to them. I'm tempted to get my old fax out just to make it fill like old times!

Been busy. Had the Psychos playing in the car but haven't had much chance to just sit down and do nothing but listen to music. And there is 17 studio albums

The latest album is slightly better because they got a new singer (he actually took over from Ripper in Ripper's cover band when Ripper joined JP, although that's not a glowing reference). The 4th album still isn't great anything but it is better.
