  1. I don't really want to ban black metal talk, I was just having a little dig at GMG because he made me cry in my popcorn yesterday. Truth be known he and I actually have a few bands that we both listen to, but I'm not going to name them and admit that I listen to black metal.

Is there a website for so called worst albums?

    Billboard Top 40?

Over the years I have recollections of conversations where worst albums from bands were discussed and I was often surprised by how many of the 'worst' albums I liked, or at very least could put up with. Strangely enough I can't remember any single conversation right now but I do know they happened. I'd actually be interested to see such a website and see which albums I should be thinking of as bad :)

FatherA to try and come up with ways to create interest in the site

I have a way to create more interest in the site. Ban all talk about black metal, no one really likes it anyway :)

I think I get less out of lists than most people.

I find the reaction to lists slightly amusing. On some forums about all they produce is lists and not following suit is considered strange. Whereas on other forums they almost don't exist and may even be questioned. I honestly don't know why I produce a list every year, it's certainly not to compete with others as my lists rarely looks the same as anyone elses. But it is interesting reading other peoples lists, even black metal lists!!!

@Kuke, Harsh? C'mon man, I put the little smiley face laughing emoji guy, I was just having some fun with ya.

    The tears are real.

    The pain is real.

    The coffee is real.

The popcorn will soak up the tears eventually.

  5. :( Awe, now that's a bit harsh!

It's true, no one else here matters, but with both popcorn and coffee I could at least feign interest in something you put effort into producing. I may not be able to put my thoughts into coherent sentences to show you how much I appreciate the entertainment but it would go without saying anyway.

  6. For us, Feb is back to school time, which is good for parents, but less good for the rest of us. Many people without kids take holidays and start hitting the roads or the shops, the streets are busy, stores are busy and the weather is warm. Speed limits around schools change down to 40kph, not that that's a bad thing, children are our future and we should protect them, but it's not always easy to remember which days are gazetted school days and which aren't, yet for some reason police and 'safety cams' always know.

I'm a little suspicous of October too, especially after last year. Usually it's a good time to prep gardens, think about warmer weather, throw away the gloomy thoughts about winter and live with the hope of sunny days to come. But last year October was wet and miserable, I hope it's not setting us up for future sadness.

Hope you can find something in there to tickle your eardrums.

OOhhh I didn't realise the tickling of anything specific was on the cards here. Does one have to be a gold class member to be offered a tickling?

And welcome to the forums Denji

  8. Flotsam and Jetsam have had a good few years. They (the whole band) did a really good interview with the website Bravewords a few months ago. It was surprising to hear AK say they still have to remind some people that it's not Jason Newstead's band.
