*And by "display" I mean stuffed in a corner next to a speaker. I know one guy who has actual glass display cabinets (plural) like in a museum. That is several steps too far.

I missed most of the mental health discussions and shitty childhoods, but I do feel for each and everyone of you. I too have some baggage, but nothing I'm sharing here. Not that I don't like you guys, but this is a public forum after all and it probably wouldn't be too hard to figure out who all of us are, especially after GG doxxing my name every 5 min 😄
Suffice to say, I have no idea what I'd do in your place Navy, it's a shitty situation all around and you gotta blow of steam where you can.
And for what it's worth, if you can find a good psychologist or therapist, do it. Let them worry about which thread to start pulling at, that's their job. You may have it together, but like you said, it might improve your relationships with wife and daughter and make them even better. Sometimes we don't even realise the shit we carry around until we put the rucksack down.

We can absolutely be friends!  Just played the "Powerage" album all the way through again today.  "Riff Raff" is in my top 10 AC/DC songs, without question.  From the riff to the shredding from Angus, it's just pure rock 'n' roll!

I found myself in the pit at 3 shows this year (Mercyful Fate - not really a pit more pushing, shoving, and getting stepped on, Blood Incantation, and Demolition Hammer). 3 things I learned:
1) I am much too old for that bullshit. My neck is no longer tolerant of crowdsurfers being dropped on my head nor is the rest of me in anyway interested in the abuse.
2) Detracts from my enjoyment of the show. Yeah, I'm an old guy now, but standing back and watching the antics plus the band is far better than participating in said antics and missing the band.
3) I lose too much shit in the pit. Stainless water bottle, earpro, cell phone (more than once).
Show me a better riff, I dare you. If you don't listen to this album at max volume, we can't be friends.
