  1. Saggysugarbag is honestly THE most overhyped death metal band of the last 20 years. How this act garnered a cult-like following off an 11 minute EP of serviceable-at-best material is one of the great mysteries of our time.
  2. Yob. Literally the only 'Y' band I can think of.
  3. New track from the upcoming Cerebral Rot album. I thought their last album was boring and I find most contemporary "caveman" death metal to be uninspiring and dull, but I liked this track much more than I thought I would so my interest has been piqued. Album releases June 25.
  4. Almyrkvi - Umbra Sinmara - Hvísl Stjarnanna
  5. My Darkthrone binge continues... A Blaze In The Northern Sky Under A Funeral Moon Panzerfaust
  6. In the midst of a Darkthrone binge in anticipation of their upcoming new album... Ravishing Grimness (this one is horrifically overlooked) The Underground Resistance Dark Thrones and Black Flags The Cult is Alive
  7. I'll never understand why people insist on pretending to like Beherit - Drawing Down the Moon. I'll back the Sargeist and Dawn rec's all day though, phenomenal albums.
  8. Darkthrone playing death/doom? I...... sure hope that doesn't happen haha. But I guess they have dipped their toes into "doomy" territory before. Quintessence is one of their best songs so I could see that potentially being cool.
  9. New Darkthrone album releasing June 25. https://metalinjection.net/upcoming-releases/darkthrone-announces-new-album-eternal-hails-for-june Their last three albums have all been great! Needless to say I'm looking forward to this.
  10. I agree that 'The Blind Leading The Blind' is a great album but it'd be surprised if the Goatmaster liked it haha. I'm definitely looking forward to their new album though.
  11. My most recent bandcamp haul: Mist of Doom - Night Spectral Wound - A Diabolic Thirst Trespasser - Чому не вийшло? Forsmán - Dönsum Í Logans Ljóma
  12. I'd say give this one a try...
  13. What's up. Yet another MetalFi migrant in checking in (I think that makes six of us now?? haha). I reside in the grim, frostbitten wastes of northern Canada. I spend an inordinate amount of time listening to music as it's often too cold to do anything else up here. Connoisseur of most things heavy and extreme. Generally prefer my metal on the blackened side but I like a little bit of everything. If it has riffs, then it has my attention.
