Yes this. I remember when I was in the pubs of Australia and all their beers were piss colored. I didn't know wtf to order, had to ask Carlissimo which piss he was drinking. My go-to here at home has become the Yuengling black & tan, $15 for a 12-pack, an eastern PA beer available everywhere and anywhere around here. And if they don't have it on tap they'll have their lager which is almost as ubiquitous as Budweiser around these parts, just with a wee bit more flavor. Because I don't always want a heavy syrupy stout with my dinner or in the warmer months. I'll grab a 6 pack of Smitty's red ale now and then as well. I ordered one at the Irish Cottage one time several years ago with my shepherds pie and I really liked it. And yeah fuck a bunch of bitter IPA's, I honestly find it hard to believe people like that shit so much.

So if one of your bogan juicer mob says I got home late and she was pissed, it'd mean she'd been hitting the sauce while you were out and now she's sloshed. If we Yanks say I got home late and she was pissed it means she was waiting for you with a blunt object and/or she's changed the locks, and/or she's thrown all your clothes out on the front lawn and set them on fire.

Good band. Their 2021 album Svmma Cvm Nox Arcana made my year end list that year.

Based on the relatively slow start I thought I was about to get some blackened doom, but it moved into regular ol' black metal soon enough. Occasional effect flourishes are fine for me as long as they know when to get out of the way. I was wary at first also because they chose to include 'gothic' in their genre description. A part of me wishes that bm would drop that tag entirely as it's a fully established subgenre of rock at this point. Just call it black metal and don't set yourself up for misgivings from most black metal fans.

Reminds me of the time I saw Sacred Reich at MDF and between songs Phil apologized to the crowd for their being fat, old, ugly and uncool now. Funny part is this was a good decade ago, and he's 54 now which means he was only early/mid 40's at the time, practically still a kid. Just learned that he and I share the same birthday, just eight years apart.

Because right around the time when I'm thinking about maybe getting ready to be sleepy I know I'm just gonna have to get up in a few at 7am to get the kid ready for the school bus so I just end up staying up. 7:40 so he's on the bus now and I've fed the cat so now I'll see if maybe I can get 2 or 3 hours of sleep...after this one last video, maybe two.
