I grabbed her and moved her off the carpet just in time. What the hell, I ask you, is wrong with a perfectly nice expanse of floor? Why must the puke go on things? Cats are the best.

My cat has done this twice already! Ugh. She's lucky I love her.

Sorry darling, here I am. You were always in my thoughts.

Things are tight here in Melbourne. I really feel sorry for those stuck in tiny apartments.

**Hugs** Thank you so much. And I agree, thankfully mine isn't tiny but yeah, that'd be torture.

  2. Not sure if this allowed (please delete if not), but I would love to have this thread be a place where (those who are comfortable) can share their social media profiles like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc, or blogs to follow, such as Tumblr. I think this would be another neat way to interact online with each other, show support (I follow a lot of artists on Instagram), and become "virtual" buddies outside of the Metal Forum.

Let me know what you guys think.

I'm wondering if our image embedding protocol changed behind the scenes recently. From what I can see, yours should be showing up as images, but all I have are links. Hmm... nope, it works fine for me:

Maybe it's a formatting issue? If it matters to you, try editing your post; if you copy the actual image url it should embed properly. This one reminds me of Altar Of Plagues' last album cover a little.

Fixed! & thank you so much!! ??

Whereabouts are you? I lived in central PA (a little north of Harrisburg) for a bit in my late 20s and I can honestly say it was hell, insofar as hell is other people. Beautiful countryside though.

I'm in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown).

  5. Bump.

I was thinking of starting a similar thread, curious to know where everyone's from. Anyone from Pennsylvania? I'm originally from Florida (yuck) and moved up here about eight years ago. Most suburbs and rural towns are calm and peaceful. Lots of nature and outdoor activities, which I love. So much beauty. Lots to explore. Fall is gorgeous too and there are many festivals and fun activities to enjoy. Many people move here from New Jersey and New York.

I want to say that I like Japanese horror (I like a lot of Japanese things actually), but I have never been able to see the originals because my local libraries don't have copies.  Still, I think the American remakes are excellent movies in their own right.

I think you can probably find them on Youtube if I'm not mistaken. A Jap horror film I always recommend is Reincarnation (Rinne). Check it out if you get the chance!

Probably my two most favorite horror movies of all time, though Sinister was great too.

They're superb. I usually prefer the originals, but I think for those two the re-makes were better. Do you like Japanese horror films?

I'm willing to bet this will happen here too. Our area is ok so far but I don't think it'll last. Especially with the planned school reopening. Ugh. I want my own mountain top.

You and me both. Sometimes I wish I could go into the forest and live in solitude. People have been so selfish and inconsiderate during this whole pandemic; my faith in humanity is wearing thin...and it wasn't that great to begin with.
Good things today - listening to Death at work pretty much alienates everyone, ha. Also have been posting here on some threads, loving the forum so far. It's the little things. :P

  9. Why hasn't this thread been started?? ? Lol. For those of you not familiar with Peter (shame on you, lol j/k), he was the singer/song-writer/bassist for the band Type O Negative. To me he was a poet, lyrical genius, and amazing musician. He also had a great sense of humor. Absolute legend. Some videos:
