  1. My cat has done this twice already! Ugh. She's lucky I love her. **Hugs** Thank you so much. And I agree, thankfully mine isn't tiny but yeah, that'd be torture.
  2. How quickly someone can be your friend and lover and then turn into a stranger. 😕
  3. Agalloch - Not Unlike The Waves
  4. Not sure if this allowed (please delete if not), but I would love to have this thread be a place where (those who are comfortable) can share their social media profiles like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc, or blogs to follow, such as Tumblr. I think this would be another neat way to interact online with each other, show support (I follow a lot of artists on Instagram), and become "virtual" buddies outside of the Metal Forum. Let me know what you guys think.
  5. Omgg what a cutie! Reminds of the green little caterpillar that was on my door yesterday. They're so beautiful.
  6. Never been a fan of Judas Priest (am I banned now? lmao 😂). And it's closed back slippers.
  7. My art/photography- a few favorites of mine. Some new & older ones. I was going to add a photo of myself but for some reason igmur is not letting me load it. Maybe later. Edit: I wanted to post a cool "so metal" photo of me at Duff's bar in Brooklyn but igmur apparently hates it so here's a boring selfie instead. 😆
  8. I'm in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown).
  9. Bump. I was thinking of starting a similar thread, curious to know where everyone's from. Anyone from Pennsylvania? I'm originally from Florida (yuck) and moved up here about eight years ago. Most suburbs and rural towns are calm and peaceful. Lots of nature and outdoor activities, which I love. So much beauty. Lots to explore. Fall is gorgeous too and there are many festivals and fun activities to enjoy. Many people move here from New Jersey and New York.
  10. I think you can probably find them on Youtube if I'm not mistaken. A Jap horror film I always recommend is Reincarnation (Rinne). Check it out if you get the chance!
  11. They're superb. I usually prefer the originals, but I think for those two the re-makes were better. Do you like Japanese horror films?
  12. That's awesome! Thanks so much. Nice to meet you as well, dear! ❤️
  13. You and me both. Sometimes I wish I could go into the forest and live in solitude. People have been so selfish and inconsiderate during this whole pandemic; my faith in humanity is wearing thin...and it wasn't that great to begin with. Good things today - listening to Death at work pretty much alienates everyone, ha. Also have been posting here on some threads, loving the forum so far. It's the little things.

    Ministry

I love Ministry so much. Psalm 69 and The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste are incredible albums. For some reason I get in the mood for them often, and my speakers aren't loud enough. ❤️
  15. Why hasn't this thread been started?? 😕 Lol. For those of you not familiar with Peter (shame on you, lol j/k), he was the singer/song-writer/bassist for the band Type O Negative. To me he was a poet, lyrical genius, and amazing musician. He also had a great sense of humor. Absolute legend. Some videos: Stay Negative x
  16. I listen to The Doors all the time. Love Jim so much. My favorite song right now is The Crystal Ship.
  17. Bumping another horror thread lol. Copying my most recent post. I absolutely loveee horror films, all types but especially the older ones shot in the 70's & 80's, and I love campy/weird stuff. Some of my favorites are: Re-Animator, Evil Dead I & II, Dead Alive, the original Halloween (also love 4 & 5), The Thing, From Beyond, Hellraiser, The Lost Boys, Fright Night, Child's Play, Dolls, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street. I have more but those are the ones that come to mind at the moment. Some other newer ones I've enjoyed are [REC], The Grudge, The Ring, and The Woman in Black.

    Horror Films

Did you get to watch it? I loved it. It's one of the most beautiful films I've seen in recent years. ----- I absolutely loveee horror films, all types but especially the older ones shot in the 70's & 80's, and I love campy/weird stuff. Ghost

Bump. Ghost is freaking amazing. 'Nuff said.
  20. Peter was amazing. I listen to TON everyday and October Rust is my favorite album of all time. Sadly, I never got to see them live either. I was too young then. From what other fans have told me, their concerts were always unique and incredible. Peter's voice was like thunder and his jokes were hilarious. I can only imagine the energy felt in that audience. Sigh... I agree wholeheartedly with what you said at the end. In my opinion Pete was a musical genius and so different from other metal musicians. He will always be my favorite singer/bassist of all time. Type O Negative was an incredibly unique band.... their lyrics and melody, the way they expressed themselves on/off-stage, their sense of humor, etc was unparalleled. I can go and on. I still think they're incredibly underrated as a band and only a handful of people truly get what they were about. Peter's death was a tragic loss and the world definitely feels emptier without them.
  21. This is an old thread but Mournful Congregation are absolutely amazing. I love them so much. So happy to see there are others here who like them as well. BTW if you guys enjoy MC, you'll most likely enjoy Abyssmal Sorrow as well (they're also from Australia).
