Minstrelblud

Yo! If you enjoy either metal or piano you may enjoy Minstrelblud. If you enjoy both metal AND piano, then the chance you'll enjoy Minstrelblud is slightly higher! Minstrelblud is a piano driven, contemporary classical metal project, drawing influence from the power, progressive, and hair metal greats. Think X Japan meets Pain of Salvation mixed with a little Skid Row and Sonata Arctica. I am currently working on wrapping up recording on two albums, aiming to release both later this year. Minstrelblud is a one-man, piano driven, power/prog metal band with a focus on songwriting. Minstrelblud's debut album, Fingered, is a piano instrumental metal album, and will be followed up by two albums coming out this year. This song, Your Diversion, is from the upcoming Heartblud album. I'm George, the sole member of Minstrelblud, and I'm new to this forum and wanted to say hi. I'm an amateur pianist with metal influences. I've been listening to progressive and power metal from around the world for the past twenty years. As a pianist, I really enjoy a good ballad, but nothing is more amazing than when the piano is the center of attention in a fast aggressive song. X japan, Symphony X, Angra, Pain of Salvation, Edguy, and Kamelot are some of my favorites groups. I'm currently recording two albums. Minister, a concept album that is a follow-up to my piano solo debut album Fingered, and Heartblud, which will just be a bitchin' album.
