  1. Small world indeed, congrats on the almost marriage. Be sure to post some pics. glencoe was really beautiful, I was there in summer 10 degrees Celsius which was freezing for me so I don’t imagine I would’ve done well in the snow. GWS. Waiting for 9am to get elimination final tickets. I’ll keep my Collingwood opinions to myself lol.
  2. Started the UK trip in Liverpool (Anfield tour and a Beatles fan). started Scotland with Glasgow then road trip took us to Loch Lomond, Oban, Glencoe, Fort William, isle of Skye, Inverness, Cairngorms, Edinburgh. The highlands was spectacular.
  3. Visited Scotland recently, such a beautiful place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Sounds perfect. Probably better than my usual docklands walks playing music abnormally loud to forget the workday had.
  5. There’s no doubt I’ve been out of the loop re what’s on offer in Australia. I guess that’s what I’m After. Spent too long all study and work with no play (not that it’s a bad thing, stay in school kids! Just prioritise better). I’m clearly following the wrong pages for gig info. I’m in NSW but I travel to Melbourne a bit for work so will have to check out more bands. Thanks for the tips, next Melbourne work trip will certainly be more entertaining.
  6. Thanks, I’m in NSW, I should probably look up Sydney and Newcastle gigs.
  7. I saw them 3 years ago when I was 31 and it was quite possibly the greatest concert I’ve been to but I could understand the heyday part. As long as you can enjoy the music, the setting doesn’t matter. I’m seeing Metallica for the first time in a few months so will be interesting to see, slipknot opening for them. We take what we can get in Australia, not many people travel down under.
  8. I wrote quite a bit back in my band days as a lead vocalist but I enjoyed it so much better as a hobby. Thanks, I’ll check out the threads regarding new bands and would be interesting to read some of the collaborations or even take part in it. have you seen Iron Maiden live? Or i take it that’s perhaps a ridiculous question.
  9. Looking to expand my metal collection, maybe some good new bands. Top 5 bands: Iron Maiden, Pantera, Wasp, Metallica, Fear Factory. writing music for years as a hobby, would love to read some of everyone's work.
