At The Gates managed to gain major success with this album, just to decide that the pressure of constant touring is too much for them and disband, while creating a then unique sound in the process.

I found the Xasthur episode interesting for its awkwardness and authenticity.  He clearly doesn’t want to be interviewed and followed round by a camera and makes no attempt to exhibit behaviour to the contrary.
The Striborg episode I found fucking ridiculous.  Essentially, grown man wears robes and corpse paint and stands shouting in the woods.  Just came across as quirky and immature somehow, with more than a hint of an exploitative direction on behalf of the production company.

I really, really love DSBM. Sadly, I don't know too many artists, but hey I am not dead yet so I can still discover. Some of my favorite artists include:
Ofdrykkja Shining Lifelover No Point In Living I also like the depressive artwork on the albums.

Picked up some classic in flames (Whoracle and Colony) as well as Mechanical Animals by Marilyn Manson.
Thinking about getting some Cannabis Corpse Merch this month when my other bills are payed and I still have money.
Last month I got some Dark Tranquillity & Asphyx Albums for my collection, as well as the old school shirt of Dark Tranquillity with a print of their demo tape's cover on it, it's badass!

At this point I can really only manage games I know well from my childhood, guess it's a muscle memory thing? Anyway I've got my Mario 64 speedrun time down to 1:56:22 and doubt I'll get much better. God damn some of the tricks you need to pull off are nuts.

Funny, when I was fourteen I got a drawing pad and some markers from my grandparents for Christmas and I went upstairs and made a drawing kind of like this but with more flames and less boobs. When my grandma saw it she said she should never have gotten me art supplies. Always liked this painting style.

Quite frankly I don’t think you’re sick either hahaha. Maybe sick of work...
On my mind is the fact that it was really warm here today, maybe 27 degrees which is crazy when October has just started. Looks like we’re in for a five or six month summer. It’s getting out of hand in Melbourne, which is also pretty cold in winter. Where’s the medium? Can’t move to England until the kids finish high school. How will I cope with the heat?
So I’m currently in the city enjoying pints and watching the Rugby World Cup. I’m supporting Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England and New Zealand in that order. I’m drinking pints in any order although the first one was Guinness.

@Requiem I'd rather rip them to FLAC. You get almost no noticable compression and you really start noticing a difference once you get used to the FLAC format.

Looking for someone who wants to sing Death vocals on Industrial Death Metal recordings. Must be able to write own lyrics or have friend who can. Oh another thing on my mind: I'm going to have the opportunity to have some stuff professionally recorded through the place I do my guitar and singing lessons. Good thing too because I've got something that is pretty much ready to go and I'd like to pass around trying to put something together.

On my mind today:
After 2 cancelled gigs (as opener for Krisiun and Entrails) I'll be playing live finally again on Halloween. In a way it's good we play so late because we'll be able to print merch and CDs by then, not by the other gigs so it would have been another gig for nothing but exposure and 50€, would've loved to meet either of the bands though. Our first gig received positive reception and we were asked for merchandise numerous time that evening, so hopefully we'll be able to collect some cash for a small tour outside the country sometime or a full length release.

Anyway on my mind: I got paid finally! Backpaid for 2 months worth of work AND got the documents I needed for my tax declaration. Still fucking hate this job though.
