  1. Childhood memories. I sometimes wanna go back for a few days just to see how much of it is just nostalgia or if times really were that much easier. I mean I know I had some problems as a child, especially healthwise, yet all of it seems so much better, even if considering now I am pretty healthy. I mean playing WoW for the first time with my cousin or generally spending time with him. My sister lived with us until 2009, and before that spending time with her. I remember my mum more stable as she sometimes now is. My Grandpas were not dead. Or when friends came for a visit. On the other hand, I can do whatever I want whenever I want outside of work, which I should also appreciate. I just hope I can go from fulltime to parttime within a year or so as I don't really need as much money as I make alone and I'd rather have more time to myself.
  2. Alright mate. Me and my friend messing in the car on our way to the river Me and my other friends at the park. The other dude did not leave his home for weeks and was pretty stoked being outside somehow.
  3. Listened to acid rain, pretty thrashy band it seems, I like it, thank you for sharing.
  4. @rakestein I also like Zelda and Pokemon (or Nintendo generally, but those 2 especially). Looking forward to Pokemon Sword/Shield, looking pretty good to me. The new Animal Crossing will also be great fun and a new Mario Kart would be awesome (sick of MK8). Also enjoy the Gothic I + II games (pretty obscure RPG outside my language-zone) and World of Warcraft. I tried Skyrim and Witcher but did not really like them. I am not a big open world fan to be hones, however I will try to play Oblivion and Morrowind, but I am done with Skyrim. It was such a boring game for me.
  5. Welcome here! What games do you enjoy?
  6. Nekrodeus - Putrid Scent of Grave Perversion (Album)

WoW Classic has launched and I play for hours now instead of going to the gym or doing something else lol
  8. Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God (Album, not track)
  9. If you were talking to me, I only listened to the first 3 albums, the first one I own physically on vinyl because I liked it so much. The third one, Reign in Blood, I found very boring. the only good song was Raining Blood on it for me. It's a band I skipped, probably because my dad blasted Nothing else matters, Master of Puppets and all of the other popular songs all of my childhood. I only listened to Master of Puppets (which I enjoyed and it's one of the few Thrash albums I enjoy) after finding out that it was a big influence for the Slaughter of the Souls album by At The Gates, which I really love.
  10. Welcome. Yeah, these bands are typical to serve as a boarding drug for extreme music.
  11. Reflecting on the festival I just came home from. Sadly, the people were my least favorite part of it, some people seem to be only looking to make enemies it seems. Despite that, saw some great shows, especially mgla, asphyx, Aura Noire, lehm & carpathian forest. Sadly I missed enslaved and avulsed which I was really looking forward to but my friends wanted to leave early for some reason, but whatever, cannot change it and I am grateful enough that they give me rides so frequently. I also found it pretty good to hear that a label is willing to take a chance and press the ep my friend made which I am featured on during a talk one night on the festival.
  12. No I don't. Usually I only go to pubs on the weekends and only if my friends ask me. Yeah, drunk stoned, whatever, I enjoy it so it's not something I need to force myself to, thus going drunk or/and stoned is also not too hard (unless I am tired). I recently found out that I stay longer at night also. It's also something I do for a very weird reason since I don't necessarily do it for health benefits or the looks (would not drink or smoke if I did), but because I found it interesting from early on and also challenging. Back to topic, Not drunk now but hungover and tired from the festival I came home from just now. Am I the only one who gets drunk only on the first day despite drinking all of the days there? I got very drunk on day 1 and drank almost as much the ones following. But then I always knew I was drunk but was almost 100% there mentally and also did not act drunk in any way. I think it has to do with being tired and drinking because I only slept 4 hours on average. Gonna drink some sweet honey wine now.
  13. Darkfall - "Ash Nazg - One Ring" Gonna see them in a few days, I am so ready!
  14. @Requiem pretty sure I understood the word 'pint' correctly in the other post you mentioned me now. I like you. Edit: It's evening now and I am drunk and a a little stoned. Feeling the essence a little more. What I mean by that is the will to grow. Going to meditate a little before a nighttime gym session. No one can take the will to grow from you. Hail. (Getting edgy there)
  15. @Requiem I stay sober at work. Could be that I show up hungover though. However, I think I was not sober 1 day at school the last few years I had. Funnily enough the teachers tried to grade me according to my motivation and how much they liked me (was not too popular, though I never rebelled, sabotaged or acted out in class). Even more funny, in the finals I was the best of the whole year with almost straight A's. I also hope I understood the word 'pints' correctly because if not my whole post would be pointless.
  16. Probably no one in here will be going there, but there is a slim chance someone is going, ain't it? Every year Austrian Extreme Metal Fans gather in a forest on a mountain to celebrate their love for the genre, though not only locals are coming as I see Flags from different countries like Finland or Poland every year there. I am not sure how many people will be there this year, but my ticket is numbered a little below 1100. I am going to leave the official poster there for anyone interested. 2 days to go. I am pumped.
  17. Netherbird - The Ferocious Tides of Fate
  18. I love horror. I also love true crime, shock videos, urban legends and the like. Some YouTube Channels I can recommend are Horror Stories - It's talking about real-life events, some of which leaving people permanently scarred and also missing people who have never been found. Count Dankula - "Absolute Mad Lads"-Series is talking about crazy people, sometimes funny, sometimes, dangerous, sometimes just weird in the brain, entertaining, can recommend. This channel archived all the Columbine discussions by TCC. Really interesting topic, I love it. Oh, and by the way, anyone knows some background information about the now almost 27 year old video "mortuary of the dead"? It's such a mysterious video and not knowing too much about it is really hitting me hard. I wanna know who these people were and what they do now, but I am pretty sure I won't ever know.
  19. Eastern Asia was always a very strong country, especially Japan in my opinion. Japan spawned so many great bands. Intestine Baalism, Sigh & Deadly Spawn just to name a few. Also enjoyed Dark Ambition from South Korea to name another country.
