stonywings given a Damn from MetallValkyrien in Beer/Ale/Lager Appreciation Thread
Yeah Cider is what I usually drink, though I have tried some fruity beer here and there. Once things get too sweet I either take a beer or switch to Red Wine ?
I visited Denmark once, but didn't get to try any alcohol there. Ill keep it in mind for next time. You may know that in Norway its common to visit Sweden cuz its so cheap, especially for alcohol. Not going near there though these days

That song was indeed very different. I found myself tapping along though and bobbing my head to it. A really fun song song! 7.5/10
Let us take another U-turn here

Hmm. I was under the impression that Therapy was considered a valid "nu metal" band, kind of genre similar with Primus, Prong and SOAD ... but whatever. I've heard "rock band" too. Either way, I like that sort of thing. 7/10.
Now for something completely different:

Hi everyone! I am a 21 year old student from Norway. Ive been a metal fan since childhood, but never interacted much with the community. Naturally I am here to correct that mistake! On that note, nice to meet you~

Nemesea have some great stuff, but personally I believe the best stuff came from their earlier album "Mana", which is vastly different from "The Quiet Resistance". The track "Angel In The Dark" especially stands out. This is more symphonic than gothic though.
A great gothic band imo is "The Birthday Massacre". Depending on the song they can be more on the rock than metal side though. Been one of my favourite bands the last couple years.
A song that regularly switches between heavy guitars and light and sweet sections.

A song that got glued to the root of my brain instantly. great lyrics, catchy (but meaty) chorus and enthralling keys.

I challenge you not to get this song stuck in your head, One of their newer outings. It has the heaviness to satisfy and the dreaminess (with help from great visuals in the video) to make you lose yourself.

What's up? I'm from Texas and I enjoy Black Sabbath, Metallica, Megadeth, and the almighty DEATH! I'd really like to branch out from just all the mainstream thrash and death metal.
