  1. I want to make a Metal Playlist with underground musicians/bands. That way we can support each other and spread a little wider If you know good, dark, heavy music worth supporting, drop a youtube-link and I'll add it to the list! Any Metal genre is welcome! Check out the other musicians as well and give them some love if you like the music! (comment, sub, like, share and all that good stuff) NOTE: I will not add music that is total crap! (I don't discriminate against any genre, BUT if the quallity is really bad, or there is just nothing interessting about it I will ignore it! This is important, because we don't want a crappy playlist no one is listening to! Here is the playlist (I did not add that much yet) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Db5q_zZsNEk&list=PLhWcUbRtzzofli-fGckvZwdr1Xnl4BIdL LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN GUYS!!
  2. Welcome! I love that there are more people here that are into Bm than I expected.
  3. I agree with SpaceBrain that genres are just here to enhance communication. I would say that there are to different approaches. 1) From a listeners and marketing perspective. We group music together, so we can navigate better. We can find music we potentially are going to like more easily for exemple. 2) From a musicians perspective: Here I think specific genres are completely arbitrary. Musicians should (I think) just make music and it's up to the listeners and labels to categorise it. Otherwise musicians are just ending up copying one another and the boundries of music itself are not pushed. Sure it's fine to label your band a certain genre, but when it comes to making music, one should never be affraid to try something new just because it is not common in the genre. Regurgitating the same concept over and over is making music bland and commercialized.
  4. Yes I have played in some bands. Guitar and vocals mostly. Currently I play in "Durkheim", "Wegtam" and "Unholy Order" (The name will chance soon though). And I also started a soloproject recently. I will put it in the Promotion Thread when the Logo is finally finished. Yeah Burzum is just one of those bands that will always have a place in my heart ❤️
  5. Yeah sure my user name says it all ;-) I listen to lot of different music, but bands I listen to frequently and for many years now would include: Windir, Kampfar, Nocte Obducta, Dornenreich, Satyricon, Gojira, Burzum, Immortal (and Abbath of course), Summoning,.... lots more, but these are the ones that came to mind first.
  6. great atmosphere, I especially like the raw sound of the guitars. The only critique I could give: At times the vocals are a bit to distant and blurred for me. (If you know what I mean) I get that that's probably a stilistic choice and maybe it's just me, but I think the vocals could shine a bit more. Still I enjoy it very much! What does "Ziv" mean btw?
  7. I love the imagery, very powerful! Music is great too! I subbed!
  8. Hi everyone, I'm new here... Looking forward to have cool discussions, meet people, discover new music and nerd the fuck out about metal \m/
