  1. People might disagree but IMHO one of the strongest subgenres in the 2010's is Doom (and its subgenres eg. Sludge, Stoner, etc.). It's surprising that we haven't named any doom albums. Here we go: - Sleep - The Sciences Sleep never disappoints. It was just released a couple of months ago, but is already making its mark. - Uncle Acid - Blood Lust Solid psych-y doom. Very fuzzy and hazy. - Bell Witch - Mirror Reaper Arguably one of the best funeral doom releases this decade. Perfect mix of doomy and beautiful. This release also garnered attention from non-metalheads. - Bongripper - Satan Worshipping Doom Instrumental sludge at its finest. Bongripper will be playing 2 nights in Brooklyn this month, the first of which they'll play Satan Worshipping Doom in entirety, and the second of which they'll play Terminal (their new 2018 album). Interestingly, they sold out the first night, but not the second night yet. - Pallbearer - Foundations of Burden I personally prefer Sorrow and Extinction, but I think many people like Foundations more. Honestly Pallbearer has a strong discography so I'm ok with any of their albums.
  2. Allow me to add some - Deafheaven - Sunbather. Seminal blackgaze album. Also has a big impact since it appeals to the masses and got many hipsters into black metal. - Deathspell Omega - Paracletus evil complex BM - Behemoth - The Satanist Behemoth’s most ambitious release to date
  3. As we all know the 2010s is nearing to an end and many decade-end lists will pop up like crazy. But just to get ahead of ourselves here, which 2010s albums do you think will be timeless classics and still be worshipped for many decades to come?
