Metallica - St Anger. The songs aren't terrible, but the snare haunts my dreams

Does anyone know why songs and albums from Sodom, Kreator etc have been removed from Spotify?
-
Great band. My favourite album from them is "The Years Of Decay", however, "Killbox 13" is a close second and a very underrated album
-
Some of these choices are pretty obvious but I personally love these albums
Rust In Peace - Megadeth
Master Of Puppets - Metallica
Seasons In The Abyss - Slayer
Agent Orange - Sodom
The Years Of Decay - Overkill
Alice In Hell - Annihilator
Beneath The Remains - Sepultura
Enemy Of God - Kreator
Illusions (Chemical Exposure) - Sadus
Rio Grande Blood - Ministry (I know it's industrial metal but it's still a pretty thrashy album)

The 80's and 90's were the golden ages, however, there was also a lot of bad metal such as Korn - Follow the Leader. There is also a lot of good modern metal.

Wow. They're really good. Thanks

I am looking for some industrial metal band recommendations. Some examples of the bands I like would be Ministry and Rammstein. I'm not a big fan of Nine Inch Nails.

It has its place. In my opinion, there are two sides to nu-metal, the metal and the non-metal side. For example, in my opinion, System Of A Down is metal and Linkin Park is not. I think that it is overrated, however, I feel that it is unfair to say that all nu-metal bands aren't "real" metal. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what genre it is the music is either good or bad.

Always think that finding out what people think is overrated in Metal/Rock is a good talking point. SO LETS DISCUSS. il start with 2 bands
I will start with Metallica, To be called the greatest Thrash band ever is an insult to too many bands to list. The riffs are repetitive and boring and the vocals are a cacophony of poor singing and shouting. Not the absolute worst band but highly highly overrated in my opinion.
Kiss - Literally a joke band. Without the stage show and circus act they preform the music is shit and Gene Simmons is a weirdo.
I can agree with you on that one

Today I'm feeling like Black Label Society, Rage Against The Machine, Ministry, Venom and Annihilator

I understand that Korn, Slipknot etc isn't for everyone, but why do you not think that those bands classify as metal?

I think that the Black Album is very overrated. It wouldn't even make my Metallica top 5. Can you change my mind?

Thanks.

Their first few albums are classic. I also think that "100 miles to hell" is also pretty good.

Not a bad band, however, I feel that Immortal are Overrated

Hello. I am a metal fan from England. I love all genres, however, thrash and industrial metal are my favourites at the moment.
First Metal Song - Jesus Built My Hotrod - Ministry

Thanks. I rate your list too.

Has anybody heard Extinct by Frowning? It's really good.

Metal Militia - Metallica

In no particular order
1. Slipknot
2. Pantera
3. Metallica
4. Disturbed
5. Anthrax
This will probably have changed by tomorrow as I listen to lots of different metal.
