I don't pray, and I like drinking! Good luck though.

We had family movie night last night and ordered some fried chicken from a new place in town. It cost a bit more than we were expecting, but we got about three times as much food as we'd planned on. The young lad and I just filled up on chicken and fries again and there's plenty left for tomorrow. I plan to offer nothing but the tastiest marbled flesh to our alien overlords when they arrive.

I dont pray either, figure of speech. Lol

Indeed dude. Veganism is like scientology its expensive, boring and it makes it so you even annoy yourself.

That sounds fantastic. I love Mexican food, but my sister-in-law's family must be from a broken part of Mexico where they replace the cheese part of elote with mayonnaise. Fucking gross.

The mayonaise is a part of it but its supposed to hold the cheese in place not be slathered on there all thick loke lol

I can't remember if we have a thread dedicated to Rainbow or not. We certainly never seem to discuss them. Truth be told I enjoy Rainbow far more then I enjoy Deep Purple. I also think Rainbow is where Dio did his best work.

100 percent agree. I dig Rainbow far more than Dio era Black Sabbath

Came with ranch beans, homemade tortillas and a side of elote (corn on the cob with chile powder and cheese for those not familiar with mexican delociousness)

Sounds good, but I would probably be wishing it was a real burger the whole time. Garlic fries rule though.

Yes garlic fries are, in fact, the shit. And I'm not so sure, I make a mean black bean burger.

From what I have read, he appeared to be a man of his time.  Reprehensible now, but probably not too unusual for when he was alive.

I grasp that, but as someone who strays from the heteronormative persuasion it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Does it stop me from reading his work? Absolutely not. I can't fucking stand Varg yet I listen to Filosofem all the time. Same concept.

    Who, Lovecraft?

Yeah. A whiny, homophobic piece of nonsense. I also can't stand Hubbard although I love a lot of his work.

I just finished reading Fight Club.  I liked it a lot.  I am now going to try and read some Nietzsche again.

    Great author.

    Indeed. Yet an awful person.

  12. I am quite interested in another book called The Adventures of Tom Bombadil. Seeing as he's always been one of my favorite Tolkien characters I'd love to know more about him. Additionally I'm working on Call of Cthulu by H.P Lovecraft
