  1. For me Funeral Doom is a genre that i appreciate musically speaking but aside from Evoken i know very little about it. What would be some essential bands aside from Evoken that would be a good starting point?

Here's a sample from the album in question, which is probably my favorite Blind Guardian song from one of power metal's perfect albums.

I definitely see what you mean when you talk about the incorporation of different subgenres within the power metal. Im liking these guys more and more.

Several people point to that album as their high water mark. It's a great one, but I feel like they peaked with their prior album, Imaginations From the Other Side. Don't skip that one or Somewhere Far Beyond.

Those are just about the most perfect peppers for balancing heat and flavor. Love them.

They are killer. There is a hot sauce i want to get that i keep seeing on a youtube show called hot ones. Its blueberry ghost pepper.

Haha nice. I had a similar experience to that. Never slept so well in my life

That was a big adjustment when i quit. Had to change my before bed ritual.

Good on you for powering through, man! And hell yeah girl scout cookies is fucking great. And yeah I haven't done much wax but damn it really fucks you up haha

Ive taken one dab in my life and it was after drinking and i just recall coughing for 30 minutes and collapsing onto a couch. I was gone after that lol.

I don't think this guy grows any hatch chilis, but those are tasty. His bhut jolokia peppers are insanely flavorful, as are these red chilis he grows that I can't recall the name of at the moment. Garden salsa maybe? Super tasty.

I intend to try my luck at growing fresh habaneros

I work with a dude that grows his own peppers, and his chile verde is magnificent. It's so great if you do it right. He's nice enough to just bring it to his coworkers that can appreciate the heat, as well as keeping us stocked up on peppers.

Im sure those are amazing peppers. Ive had great results using Hatch green chiles, something my Dad passed down to me.

It's such a glorious food. The way my wife made it wasn't really authentic, but it still turned out pretty well. I work at a trucking company, and most people here at like shit. They give me funny looks when I bring a huge bag full of food that takes me some time to assemble, but then they comment on how good it smells and how lucky I am to have a wife that cooks. I wouldn't say that she's a great cook, but she spends an inordinate amount of time on Pinterest and tends to find some good recipes.

Most of the shit i make comes from internet recipes. That chile verde is by far my favorite ive made so far.

    Fuck! You guys eat well!!

I am an irretrievable foodie. Id be willing to bet the percantage of my pay spent on food is seconded only by rent.

Sounds like she's done a great job. I don't know how well they turn out, but your recipes you post about always seem ambitious.

They come out pretty well most of the time. Occasionally i send out a shitty plate but usually its okay

Also thank you for the compliment.

  12. I used to smoke pretty religiously. Im in recovery from some pretty nasty addictions to other stuff though so i abstain these days. Dont mind it though. Used to love the strain Girl Scout Cookies. Used to have the highest thc content in the world im sure theres something else though now. I also used to love smoking wax (thc concentrate) as that shit will have you high for a week.

She taught me to cook. I couldnt make ramen before we started dating. I was raised on take out.

  14. Tonight, i am having Chile Verde i made using 5 pounds of pork shoulder, hatch green chiles, canned tomatillos and about 8 hours in the slow cooker. I will consume this while listening to Sad Wings of Destiny. Man its good to not be vegan anymore.
