Well, if youre ever in town let me know. Ill make sure you hit all the right places to eat. Arizona is best known for killer mexican food. Additionally the Phoenix area has quite the restaurant scene of all different types.
I agree man, i moved here from the east bay area like 5 years ago. Ive gotten pretty used to summer, but its still pretty ugly. Youre in Utah if im remembering correctly?
I definitely dont think there isnt any good metal being made anymore but there does seem to be a lack of kids posessing the neccesary aggression and grit that seemed to be free flowing in those periods. I blame tipper gore XD.
It depends. If im trying to learn a song definitely play throughs. Dont really care about lyric videos because im usually just listening and not watching.
For lunch im making a grilled cheese with muenster cheese and bacon. For dinner im having bbq beef with chili cheese tater tots and baked beans. Life is good.
I think the point of any kind of internet discussion forum is to exchange ideas and that means that sometimes there is going to be contradiction and disagreement. Anyone who cant handle that probably doesnt belong here.
Yeah. It comes out really tender. Probably the acid in the soda and the sugar blends really well with the barbecue sauce. We always slow cook these though, ive never tried it as a regular marinade for grilling.
Also green curry is awesome. Love me some thai food.
I definitely share that sentiment. I feel like it was okay when I was mainly going to punk shows because moshing is just a big part of that. But i feel like metal, to me, is something i want to be present for.
I forget the name of the song but the one thats like "we worship the sun. We worship the moon." Scared the living shit out of my parents when i was 14.
Dude that sounds like such an experience. As i get older I am less interested in jumping into the pit at shows and more interested in experiencing the music from a sonic perspective.
For me Slayer was one of those bands that just blew my mind wide open and changed my worldview forever. I think they have a career of great albums and while some of those albums stand out amongst the rest, they all deserve my respect. There isn't a Slayer album that incites disgust in me the way St. Anger or Load Reload does. So while I agree that some of the more recent albums are far cry from Show No Mercy or Hell Awaits I am still sad I didn't get to see them before they disbanded. I will forever kick myself.
