I can't thank you enough for checking out my music and enjoying it. Vocals are something I've been passionate about for a long time. The drums in misery and mental suicide are both just recorded on a 40 year old drum kit that hasn't been tuned in years. As for .BSIDES. it was recorded on a shitty kit from a toy/music shop. I definitely agree, and thank you for the words about my music. The first three releases of mine were all recorded using my phone's microphone, as I wanted the rawest production I could. I just layered each instrument over and bam, you get that cold feeling. It's very hit or miss but personally I love it Sent from my A1601 using Tapatalk

Definitely 'burzum' over Hvis or Filosofem. While no doubt both are brilliant albums, I enjoy a lot more songs off the self titled. I also think it was peak vocal performance for varg. They send chills down my spine. Wrath of the Tyrant was one of the first emperor releases I got into, so I had to give it credit. Hey guys, New here, I just read the rules thread, thought this one would go well next. I'll go by Corpse, I love all types of metal, and I've been listening to at least alternative music since the age of about 7. My favourite genre would have to be Black Metal, by far. I started listening to black metal about two years ago, with your obvious bands such as Mayhem, Darkthrone, Gorgororth, Burzum, etc. I then found the brilliance of Suicidal Black Metal/DSBM a little over a year and a half ago. Struggling with mental health issues most of my remembered life, it has helped me through days in which nothing else did. Following Black Metal, other favourite genres would have to be Hardcore, Brutal Death Metal, Punk, and Screamo (bands like Old Grey, Things Fall Apart, Vowel, etc) I have my own Raw DSBM project called HYSTERIA. I understand promotion must be kept to the promotion thread, but if somebody would like a link, its just Hysteria DSBM on bandcamp. I hope to find people to discuss similar interests with, as well as broaden my library of music. Thanks for reading, Ave Satanas!!
