NoSlipRecords's Achievements

  1. Silver tinsel in their minds
    Children start to march
At 6 AM beneath the Xmas tree
    Greed within their hearts
They're tired of being good and nice
And told just what to do
Now it's Xmas morning and their
    Evil's shining through

    Children of tomorrow live in
    Fear of the naughty list
But the sunlight of this morning means there's
    No more ass to kiss
Because the things they do today
They'll make up through the year
How far do you think they'll go
Now that they have no fear?

So you children of the world listen to what I say
If you want another gift next year
    You'll get one anyway
Show the world that Santa's still alive
    You must be brave
All you children of today are children of the sleigh

  2. Doom godfathers THE OBSESSED return with Sacred, their first studio album in over 20 years. Led by legendary frontman Scott "Wino" Weinrich (Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan, The Hidden Hand, etc.), THE OBSESSED originally formed in 1976 and released three seminal stoner / doom albums in the early 90's, including The Church Within which has been hailed as one of the important records in the genre's history. Now, after reforming in 2016, the band has returned with renewed energy and purpose, sounding heavier and more relevant than ever before. On Sacred, THE OBSESSED double down on enormous, heaving riffs and pummeling low-end across 12 tracks of eternal doom. Rounded out by Wino's lyrical honesty and iconic throaty vocals, Sacred is an album that further pushes THE OBSESSED into the annals of heavy metal history and that was well worth the two-plus decade wait.

    Released April 7, 2017
    2017 Relapse Records

  4. Hello Dilatedmind, My name is Robert Pilson, huge music lover of many genre's, Stoner and Doom Metal being my favorites these days, so much so that I started a Record Label a couple years ago, I'm also a vinyl record collector so I created the label not only to help bands get their material on wax but to also add some super limited pieces to my collection, in the link below you'll be able to hear some of what I listen to, there may even be something lurking in there that some of you here may like, the label name NoSlip is my last spelled backwards, I had a hard time trying to come up with a name so I went NoSlip, and once the "Bitch Witch" logo was done I knew I made the right choice for the label name... 6.  Here's one of my favorite bands in the underground Doom scene.

  7. Here you see all four colored editions we did for the Wolves Of Winter vinyl release, the vinyl release is limited to 500 Presses on 180 Gram Wax for the ultimate audiophile playback, album was mastered by Jeff Harris, Jeff has worked with many greats such as the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Supertramp just to name a few, Jeff also worked on the audio crew that did the audio in the classic film TRON, and Jeff is now the current lead instructor at the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences, this has has gotten many great reviews by some of the heavy hitter reviewers in the underground scene and we're very proud of the band and how the vinyl release turned out, so if you will give it a listen and share your thoughts on the album, good or bad, we want to know what you all think...
