I really like Saturday night wrist, with the exception of the horrible song, pink cellphone. White pony was great, but I too don't listen to it too much anymore. Koi no yokan is a good album, but not my favorite. Gore was mediocre with the exception of the opening track.

Got into them over 10 years ago, after hearing the live album I was instantly hooked. Twist in the myth is my favorite but I am biased because this was the first album by them I purchased and holds a special place. There is not an album I dislike by them, though I am not too well-versed in their first 2 albums. The newest album is actually growing on me even though at first I was turned off by it being overly symphonic and not enough metal. Gotta get used to it though because I think their next LP will be completely orchestral. There's always the next Demons and Wizards album to look forward to, if Hanson and Jon ever get to finishing it (hopefully in the next year or so)

I am looking mainly for metal that is fast, heavy and complex, with good vocals. With the exception of a few bands I'm not that into screaming or throat singing.

Hi, I signed up to expand my metal repertoire as well as maybe have some good music discussion. Metal bands I'm currently into: Metallica Iron Maiden Judas Priest Blind Guardian Iced Earth Demons and Wizards Fear Factory Lamb of God Slayer Megadeth Bullet for my Valentine Bands I couldn't get into but might try again : Pantera Shadows Fall My tastes aren't limited to metal though, I pretty much like all kinds of Rock, but I want to expand my metal horizons
