When it came out, I didn't like Formulas Fatal to the Flesh and this is the album that took me away from Morbid Angel. The band then released Gateways to Annihilation, Heretic, etc. It's only with the release of Kingdoms Disdained that I started listening to Morbid Angel again.

Every now and then I'll pull out one of the post-Covenant records to see if I'm still interested or indifferent.

Today, I'm trying Formulas again!

I think Kingdoms Disdained is a great album. I like Formulas and a lot of their later stuff. Got to see them live after Gateways had come out too; it was cool seeing them with Jared Anderson on vocals.
