  4. I've always wanted to visit the United Kingdom... both city and rural areas... England particularly. And of course Norway and Sweden are at the top of the list. I'd also love to see Alaska. I love mountains, lakes, forests, rain and cooler weather. I'm not really a beach and sunny weather kind of person. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Well, I'm going to see Slayer and Anthrax next week and hopefully I'll be seeing Dark Tranquility in November.
  6. I haven't listened to them much to be honest, but if they give off that raw, yet ambient vibe that I love then I'll probably enjoy them. =) Haha...thank you! This is an awesome poem and I thoroughly enjoyed it =)
  7. Did your efforts to impress him work? Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk Nope : ( I guess he just saw me as the weird awkward little sister of a band member Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yes, I absolutely love Nocturnal Depression!! By far one of my favorite bands. I also love Wedard, Thy Light, Satanic Warmaster, Belphegor, Rotting Christ, Agalloch, Dark Tranquility, Dissection, Enslaved, Marduk, Tryptikon, Celtic Frost, Gehenna, Watain, and Mayhem when Dead was their vocalist. Those are just a few. I'm pretty obsessed with the history of Dead actually. I really wish somebody would do a more in depth biography about him, but can understand why his family would not be interested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I'm not sure what you'd call this but whenever I feel depressed or alone I always turn to metal. It's the best therapy I've ever had. It makes me so grateful for the artists who pour their hearts and souls into making music. I feel moved mostly by black metal, because I love how raw and real it is. But yeah, it's like an escape and a form of therapy for me. And yes, I can totally see how one would feel spiritual while listening to metal. Metal is my wonderland. 11. Mine was Rust in Peace by Megadeth. I was just a kid when I bought it. I had a crush on the drummer in my brother's band and he always wore Megadeth t-shirts so I was trying to impress him. But I actually liked it and my love of metal grew from there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. That's awesome : ) Is that you in the pic with corpse paint like Dead? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I hope my snowflake comment isn't offensive. I just hate when people put you down for liking a certain band. Nobody should have to defend what they like when it comes to music. I have 3 cats. They listen to metal too : ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Hi everyone, I'm Chelle. I'm here because I have no real life metal-head friends and that gets a little lonely. I really love black metal, DSBM, folk metal, some death, symphonic, goth, some industrial, some stoner metal, some metal core, and of course traditional heavy metal. I can't stand elitist metal fans who think they're special little snowflakes when they actually aren't. I can't stand when other women stare at me when I'm out in public with a band t-shirt on. Things that I do like include: open minded people, down to earth chill people, cats, watching anything metal related while eating pizza or wings or nachos, working out while listening to metal, true crime books and documentaries, stormy weather, rainy days, hiking, the beach at night, all things dark and macabre, drinking the occasional beer (hate liquor and wine), and of course going to concerts as much as I can.
