The Spectral Voice album is definitely growing on me. Also now picked up a copy of this EP, which I liked loads from the first listen... Grabbed the two other tracks which are available on their Bandcamp as well, which aren't bad.

That's what held me back from ordering the SV album for so long if I'm honest. But on paper I ought to love them a lot - they're a bit like Evoken and Krypts combined, two of my favourite bands... so yeah, feel I at least need to give listening to it repeatedly at full quality a go. Have a feeling it will probably work too, where there's a will there's a way and all that Blood Incantation are a Dark Descent band, and Dark Descent is where it's 'at' right now (for good reason). So that might explain the unwarranted love, if indeed it is unwarranted (they’re a lot less my kind of thing on paper, so I can't really comment).

Quite different I'd say, but seem to be held in equally high regard. SV is definitely more my cup of tea. P.S. Just ordered myself a copy of Eroded Corridors of Unbeing
