Hello everyone, I'm new to forum, and metal. I'm 16, started listening to metal few months, when my best friend (guitarist) started playing Metallica all the time 24/7. And it wasn't bad at all, not blown away but okay. So i asked him to send me his metallica playlist, and more I listened more i loved it. And month ago he asked me if want to learn to play bass. To be honest, never saw it in my life, never heard it in a song. Ofc, he showed me few bass covers (Master, Nib, Trooper oh the Trooper:0 And i loved it the strenght, power, strings... Without thinking i said yes. Until today when i mentioned to my other friend that im collecting money for bass BOOM, u have to feel the metal, u havent even seen the bass and u want to play it, you know a few mainstream metal bands, and couple of songs and u want to play. And he has a point. Its true i dont know a lot of songs, just mainstream bands, on the other hand i calms me down, i love it. Even though I know only a 10-25 songs i love it, I listen it the all the time. I don't fit into metal description, i like suits, ties, watches. and maybe i dont fell it, but when I hear One or Harvester or Nib I just can't describe the peace i feel in myself. Any comment will mean a lot to me, and sorry for bad english.
