Hello, I know that many people hate on Metallica for not maintaining their thrash style, but I thought that "death magnetic" was a decent thrash album, especially with songs like, "my apocalypse" and "that was just your life." So it kinda pisses me off that so many die hard thrash fans hate on Metallica. I myself am a diehard thrash fan and still love Metallica for their first four albums and what they've done for thrash. Also, if I didn't start listening to Metallica (and it's probably the same for many others) I wouldn't have become such a huge fan of thrash. Another personal connection I've had with their music was just a few months ago when I was going through a deep depression. "Fade to black" helped me a lot and is probably one of the reasons I didn't kill myself. Anyways, although the they're not exactly what they used to be I still enjoy their first four albums. It's kinda the same with g n r, their new stuff sucks but, their first three albums were incredible. What do you guys think?

Hello everyone, Kreator has quickly become my favorite band of all time. I'm madly in love with their music. Recently I was watching their performance in east Berlin from 1990 and noticed two songs that I had never heard before which I thought were incredible, "awakening of the gods" and "behind the mirror." I had never heard these songs, I guess it was because I mostly listened to stuff that was on their top 10s lists and songs that made them well known on the thrash scene and defined them like, pleasure to kill, extreme aggression, or betrayer. What do you guys think of these two songs I personally liked them but wanted to know the opinions of other fans. Please share down below.
