  2. Grieve - Wolves of the Northen Moon, Finnblack Hellripper - Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags, god damn man this new Hellripper is fucking wicked. I rememeber trying this one when it first came out last year. Pretty sure I even posted it on this thread. Ultimately it was just too dissonant and proggy for me. I'll be interested to see how it strikes the Orca.

  3. DODHEIMSGARD - A Umbra Omega. Re-visiting these guys because they will be playing at Hymns to the Dead in Hobart this year. Much more prog rock than metal, but we shall see what they do live. HELLISH FORM - Deathless NP - HAUNTER - Discarnate Ails. This band will also be playing in Hobart. These dudes are the real deal. Try this for size, Orca.

  7. Where? You mean the underpants comment? That's not an album review. I really wanted to like it, there are some really great moments and passages on there. I definitely get why Doc was digging it. But in the end I had to accept my limitations and get back in my own lane. Vomit Forth live at Saint Vitus Bar, Dec. 9th, 2021. Surgey named these guys as one of the good bands worth seeing at that Hell in the Harbor festival at the Soundstage in Baltimore next month. I'd never heard of them before, but then I found this video. I don't listen to a lot of "brutal" young bands like this but I think I really like these young dudes from Connecticut. Their approach seems to be keep it simple yet effective. BDM with a nice groove. Absolutely love the dude's guitar tone.

Haven't seen the news this today but I've seen headlines about a hurricane in Illinois. Apparently the hurricane hit a venue where MORBID ANGLEL, REVOCATION, SKELETAL REMAINS and CRYPTA were all playing. 1 dead 28 injured at the theatre according to what I'm seeing
