like i said in the post about the big 4, i acknowledge that megadeth has more talent. but, i prefer metallica because i think they structured their songs alot better. i am just talking about '80s to early '90s metallica, because i don't care for the stuff that followed black album. anyways, metallica's riff to solo ratio is better than megadeth's in my opinion. a lot of megadeth songs in my opinion have too many solos and the solos are too long as well. a lot of megadeth tunes feel like a dave mustaine ego trip

Am very busy with work recently and usually I try to listen Bandcamp releases in the meantime to help focusing when I can. This release is on quite a few times now and really appreciate it. Even the I guess you'd call it atmospheric parts on it. Mystras - Empires Vanquished And Dismantled

Type O Negative/Bloody Kisses-this fares better, clearly going for a more metal, albeit accessible sound -like a gothic doomy Danzig. I see it's considered a classic. After time spent with Swans/White Light and Various failures which are variously great and clumsy post punk comparisons-Swans can't be pigeonholed by anyone as they transcend genre description-----listening to: Joy Division/Unknown Pleasures Opeth/Pale Communion-because....well, I have no excuse, because I possess the disc.

Knowing that it's gonna get better is part of what bothers me. We've been able to tell instinctively if something is artificially generated in this way for a long time, and I think that's given a lot of people this essentialist idea that AI stuff will always fall in the uncanny valley because there's something "special" about human creativity. I don't buy that. I suppose (per my earlier comments) I'm ambivalent about whether it's a "good" or "bad" thing on its own, but my feeling is that it's likely going to be used for mass-appeal commercialized pablum rather than as a collaborative tool to expand and refine our own understanding. Which sucks.

Aosoth - The Inside Scriptures Aosoth - An Arrow In Heart One of those bands where I'd consider myself a pretty big fan, and should listen to them more often, but they, and many others, are constantly lost in the shuffle of me failing to strike a good balance between checking out new music and listening to what's already in my collection. Too much good music gets forgotten about on a regular basis, feels good to revisit.

"Always gushing about" it was one thread! I burn fossil fuels to go to the airport a few times a year so I can get down from my high horse to make the trip if need be. However, I just checked and it appears there is literally only one seat left right at the back. Or a few £1000 hospitality boxes. So that's only £250 each x 4 seats. I won't buy from Amazon though so am a bit stuffed on that one. Usually passport renewals are quite straightforward. I imagine USA has an online system like UK and NZ. You can even submit your own selfie from a cell phone as the picture these days. I did put on Pandemonium yesterday. I have it on vinyl and a 12 inch remix single. And listened to the live album from bandcamp. Not quite as amazing as I was hoping (mainly due to poor live vocals and a rant about death of Princess Diana), but will check out some other material.

Ok well I'm 182cm tall and weigh about 62 kilograms. You guys can do the conversions. I love cycling, have since I first started in 2012, and am becoming increasingly motivated to compete on the international stage one day. All my energy right now is being put into training harder then ever before (the penny finally dropped in the last fortnight or so). I want to gain about eight kilograms to give me the power to match my endurance. I don't tend to notice how other people look to be honest. Personality is what counts for me mostly because I can't see what someone looks like half the time. My ex was short, skinny-ish, and I was defs attracted to her so I guess I'd say I like girls that are skinny without being stick figures. Hard to typify what I find attractive when I can't see so well.
