Saw them live on 9/11. Holy Wars was fucking epic. The rest of the set was great too. Also saw: Suicidal Tendencies - great energy, cool set, but fuck Mikey is getting old. Young Trujillo represented extremely well on bass. Lamb of God - excellent Anthrax - also excellent The Offspring - surprised by these guys. I knew every song they played. I guess I listened to them way more than I thought back in the day. They didn't play the one song I wanted to hear however (Jennifer Lost the War). Mastodon - quickly becoming my favorite live band. These guys just kill it in person. Black Label Society - meh. Cool, but I could have lived without it. Trivium - uninspiring but technically proficient Clutch - always solid. Going to see them again this Saturday Missed out on Testament and Soulfly playing a full Sepultura set. Really dreary day down in the armpit of the US today. The weather is not helping with other issues going on.
