Diary of the dead is definitely worth seeing for a Romero fan and was imo best zombie film he did before he passed away. Rip george. For me it was a creative take on the genre with some fun moments. Yeah definitely George was insightful about the human condition. His films wouldn't have worked without that imo, and thanks for that info. His films definitely had a fun element which people liked including me and I'm guessing you too. Thanks for info re night of the living dead of the dead. May be worth another watch. Re dawn of dead, Tom savini knows special effects so well and Geor

    Pokemon!

Thanks re the Japanese cards. There cool cards even if you don't know anything about Pokémon like me😁 Oh dear. I assumed they were there proper names. Always the danger of a Google search with little knowledge 😂 Thanks for advice re the games. May check one of those out. Are there any good Pokémon games on GameCube too as I don't play games enough to warrant buying latest Nintendo. Also have you played that Pokémon go app.

That is really cool, she got to be a part of it. I haven't seen that one though. Night of the Living Dead, yeah, that was the first one I saw. Duane Jones was the lead role, but the whole cast was excellent. Cool thing about that movie is it's public domain, so you can always watch it on youtube or anywhere. Yeah, the original Dawn of the Dead is the best. The remake is not bad; at least they did something different with it, but it's a little too much of people trapped in a mall hanging out, talking... from what I can remember. On the commentary track of the original Dawn, Tom talked abou

@blaaacdoommmmfannice cards! ? that pic of all the pokemon those aren’t their actual names ? those are joke names hahaha and yes I have played the original pokemon red, and I think the following games are a lot better (especially Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) but they are very fun in their own right.

  7. https://images.app.goo.gl/ZjMjPCboquXpSdyx7 Megadeth rust in peace cover has always been a classic to me. In fact I can't even remember if I liked this before I started listening to metal. I definitely remember seeing the t shirt a few times and thinking what a cool cover. Also my 3 year old son thinks it's great cover to. I'd got postcards of it in a metal magazine, he insisted it be put on his wall until my wife said no chance. Some people ehh Ok this is rust in peace link. ? Peace sells is another cover that I really like https://images.app.goo.gl/LWKo9z

  8. I'm not so sure that this is a metal problem that you encountered, rather than a facebook problem. That site is toxic. People go on there just looking to get on a soap box and put others down. I closed my account there long ago and would rather claw out my eyes than go back.

  10. You misunderstand. Just because you're into the occult doesn't mean you can say you've had sex, Salmo. Don't worry, though - one day you'll meet the right person.

  11. I've always experienced a lot of judgment for listening to very dark or very hard/heavy music, especially with me being female. Everyone thinks I should always be happy and positive etc and that I should like pretty pink things and puppies and bubblegum pop songs. If I listen to metal they worry or discourage it. Many people I know have a belief that metal will "corrupt" me or others I would say that overall I'm not a dark or light kind of person, I live in both sides of the spectrum I think you touched on something real when you said that darkness is beneficial just like light,

  12. Very interesting. I didn't know that was the meaning of "occult". If sex is occult, then I'm a practicioner!!

  13. For me though, it's more like the old Manowar saying, "If it's not in your blood, you'll never understand". The people who were generally into heavy music and a philosophical/individual outlook on life as teenagers are still that way today, twenty years later. Those who are fat and boring today were thin and boring 20 years ago. I'm sure there are people out there who used to live life their own way and who now don't, but I think once the fire is lit, it tends to stay with you through the different phases of life. Take me for an example. I've got a family, house and all the ingredie

  14. Metal in many ways rejects the norms of society (though it is worth noting that it has many norms of its own). Breaking away from the herd provides one with an interesting level of objectivity about society that could not otherwise be achieved from within. Just because something is normal, popular, or "light" does not entail that it has any quality or insights to offer. In many ways, the people who deliberately do something unusual or different often have the most to offer and learn from.

  15. To me, negativity is despair, sadness, being manipulated, and toxic relationships/people...but not anger!!! And I think that the vast majority of people have experienced at least some of the above at some point in their lives. Some deal with it by finding comfort in drugs and alcohol, some just learn to live with it, some copy the behavior of those abusing them to in, out of sheer frustration, kick those who are below in the pecking order...and then there are those who find a much healthier way to deal with the shyte life offers you by using the arts as an outlet...in this case metal mus
