Mortician- "House by the Cemetery/Mortal Massacre" I honestly don't think there's any band heavier than these guys. Blasphemy comes close.

If you want some blastbeating off then may I suggest ‘Panzer Division Marduk’, which is less ‘knocking on your door’ and more ‘levelling your ancestral village’.

hi, ive only heard 2 songs from this band so far, it randomly came up as a suggestion on youtube. throne of rats and sodomized. i think the vocalist on throne of rats is very good, im really new to black metal and there's so much to check out yet from this style. what i like at times is where the drum work sounds like a fast knocking on your door lol with cymbal crashes, it's like something out of a horror film where your running from something lol it's a very good effect yeah.

Let's all take a moment to admire this post. I love this thread.

I am a fan of serious music. However I do like humorous music like DR. Demento type stuff (I was a kid once) I have been told that I shouldn't make people laugh when we do live shows, but people seem to like it when I make them laugh. I think it's fun.

IF many layers of societal sarcasm is funny, then yes. Humor or not I do like to get that at least in some sense, the band is enjoying themselves, and there is some type of fun to convey. That dont smile, thats not metal business is BS. Lemmy used humor on stage. Song lines like,"It was them it was not me," are pretty tongue in cheek funny. And I do enjoy them.
