Thanks guys, it went well, good turnout and we all had a great time. So much fun to be back up on stage after a few years.

Hope your show went well FA, and I'm glad you're happy with your artwork. So tonight I learned there's such a thing as over-doing it. It's a really terrible idea to put 3 of the hottest chilli pepper on the planet into your food. The blisters forming on my lips and tongue are proof positive of that, ouch!

Had a day out in Llangollen today. First time I have ever been but had a great walk in the early spring sunshine along the canal path and got lots of pictures of trees! Will try and upload some here in the photo thread.

Got my first show with the new band tonight, at my favorite venue in town. I'm a little nervous but mostly excited. We've been putting a lot of work in and I hope it comes together well. I also have a new illustration moving along pretty well, which is heartening -- it's one of those nice instances where a band likes my idea, and gives me enough creative freedom that I'm actually happy with the piece as a painting on its own merits. Not to say that I don't do my best on any of the jobs I get, but this is one of the few that I wouldn't mind hanging in a show of personal work when it's done. I think. Fingers crossed.
