Nice work on the Saor track. I'm becoming more and more convinced that Saor are one of the best musical projects in the world right now. 'Guardians' is haunting me, and I'm about to put it on. Too bad 'Winter Thrice' isn't doing it for you. Gosh I love that album, and it's going on soon too! Those first four songs in particularly are just so moving. NP: Dark Funeral - 'Angelus Exuro pro Eternus'. One of those albums/bands I need to be in the mood for, and when I am they really scratch that melodic black metal itch. I'd underrated this album - it's actually really good. Ok, time for 'Guardians'.

Interesting. Both are replacements for bigger bands during their low points, then shuffled off. This is a tough one. As much as I love Tony, I’ll have to go with Ripper. He’s cooler and he still has a decent career. Tony Martin was often maligned even during his era so he never enjoyed the support during his golden age that Ripper received. Plus ‘The Glorious Burden’ is an amazing album. Jason Newstead or Dave Ellefson?
