Not exactly my cup of tea, but this is a nice album nonetheless. Good melodies and some nice chord changes that make it more interesting to me than other doom I've heard in this vein, and I appreciate the breathy quality of the vocals, as opposed to overwrought drama. I can't help but think part of the allure of this album for a lot of people is the personal tragedy surrounding its release.
