  1. Hi, I'm looking for a metal vocalist to do vocal tracks for my band's upcoming EP. The candidate should be able to do both cleans and growls and record one's own performance remotely. Please listen to the pre-mixed songs (w/o guitars leads and some extra arrangements) on Soundcloud and send me a message if you're interested:

  2. Hi, My name is Christian and just signed up to the forum. I would describe myself as an enthusiastic (metal) music listener and player (drums, guitar, bass, synth). Please have a listen to the music I make on Soundcloud and, by the way, if you're a singer without a project and would like to collaborate, please let me know. 6. 8/10 I really dig Walkyier's lyricism on this album and the riffs on this track are pretty badass. I still prefer Japanese Sabbat to this overall and there were better albums from '89 but this is rather good regardless.

  14. So you’re saying it’s a potato/potarto sort of thing?

  15. It all made sense pretty well. What makes less sense is the actual popularity of the baked potato. It’s really not that great a food. In fact I prefer potato mashed, roasted and in potato salad before I’d go for baked.

  16. What a scenario. Why don't you try Mozart or something and see how that affects you? I love classical music.

  17. Cryptopsy- "Blasphemy Made Flesh" Always a fun listen. I especially like the part in "Open Face Surgery" when Lord Worm says "MUOY OI MAH AH OOM OH DAH AHGAH!!"

  18. Glad to hear! Those first two tracks are favorites of mine as well. And yes, Strigborg can be hit or miss. I recommend "Southwest Passage" if you haven't tried it already. Cheers. NP: Incantation- "Tribute to the Goat" More growlin' in the shower

  19. Just ordered both Paracletus and The Synarchy of Molten Bones from DsO's bandcamp. This might come off as weird, but I have yet to buy several of their stuff. The problem is here in Italy shipping costs are beyond atrocious, and that slows my process of buying albums significantly. However, finding my mailbox full of merch is totally worth the wait

  20. I was at my moms house for dinner yesterday, and her husband was cleaning out their storage area while we arrived. He found his old leather jacket and decided to give it to me. I couldn't have asked for it to fit better, so how could I say no? Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk

  21. Metallica “Ride the Lightning” either I have lost a CD or only ever had the digital copy of this? Rectified now. Incantation “Onwards to Golgotha” - a casualty of my Amazon dispute so replaced on CD.

  24. Depends on the the black metal... There's some crushingly heavy shit juxtaposed with dreary, frail, hollow, shrill stuff within the same piece. Using a setting that will somehow allow both is great. As said micing cabs really adds to the atmosphere and rawness. DI'd black metal sounds kinda lame, just the though of it. I'm sure there great black metal done that way for whatever reason. I would however think if such projects were recorded from live cabs, they would be better. That's just me and my opinion though.. not something to be taken too seriously though haha
